Born a Christian but saved as a Nazarene Believer
I was born in a Christian Methodist family and all my life was full of struggles but I was a very angry man and I would say to people whatever I say is correct and you are not. I did many sins in my life with both with my relatives and also those who were not related to me. I was a violent man and I deceived my own family with money and properties.
The Change
Then one day I met a man of Elohim who I went to hear. It was the year of 1995 that one of my uncles who was a believer who took me there I heard the words of brother Manohar in Mumbai.
Those words cut to my heart and the first time I realised I was a sinner in need for redemption. I realised that just a family background of Christianity is meaningless for redemption. I realised the true Elohim Yahushua who I knew as Jesus then and that brother who was teaching made me realise where I stood in my life as a person without hope and without redemption. It was at that time that I repented of my sins and accepted Yahushua of Nazareth. Then, that brother did a prophecy for me in my life that one day it will come that you will shine for (Jesus) Yahushua.
This brought about change in my life of removing the anger and making me a non-violent man for some time because I had not received complete healing as the Holy Spirit continued to work in my life.
One thing disturbed me in India that people were not using the true name of Yahushua but used Jesus instead and also many other commandments they were not following such as the Sabbath and food laws as they were taught they are only for the Jews and not for us.
Then I realised that many of the things that are in the Bible are not being taught in India. In my life during India I had refused to eat meat killed wrongfully or meat that is unclean these things were taught from a long ago in our family since they were Christians. While I was in India after my salvation I attended mainly the Methodist church, I had many discussions with Christians on clean/unclean foods.
In 2006 I came to England then one day when I was in England I was shopping and I saw a stall with a children’s Bible, then the man standing on that stall said are you Christian and I said yes I am from India. He then invited me to come to his Baptist church in Town.
Then I went to his church one day. When he saw me praying he said I will introduce you to such a man who understands the language you pray in. Then he introduced brother Simon Altaf to me by giving his telephone number to me but he did not tell me where he lived even though this Christian man knew where Simon lived but I was to be surprised by this information as I found out later.
This man Simon lived in the same street as me only about fourteen houses away. I want to thank Yahuweh for this revelation that what I was desperate to learn in India the true faith of the disciples of Yahushua that this truth I received thousands of miles away from Mumbai right here in England through brother Simon.
I realised the names I used to utter such as “Jesus” and other common names of Elohim (God) were not correct according to the Bible and culture of Yahushua's day. I then embarked on a journey to learn the true names of both “Jesus” which is Yahushua pronounced by many in the West as Yeshua shortened form and I learnt the correct formation of the words for Yud Heh Vav Heh as Yahuweh rather than Jehovah.
After this it took me one year to learn the various things learning through brother Simon listening but not always able to follow fully as he was teaching and following. I would only follow about ten percent of what he would teach. Then one day in my life what happened was that my young daughter became ill and I prayed to YHWH for her healing then she immediately became well and my faith increased up to fifty percent that YHWH hears my prayers but still I could not see my self fully following the faith with obstacles in my way.
Then some more things happened in my personal life like I got ill and then I prayed to YHWH again that you your self have said in the Bible the following.
John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in My Name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
I asked what is that NAME? So I asked in the NAME of YAHUWEH and prayed that today I ask you in your TRUE name with all my heart to give me the healing and I was healed. This happened during a Sabbath. So my true beginning of following the faith fully one hundred percent started with this Sabbath.
I intrinsically realised that ultimately Yahuweh controls my life and direction so I must submit to Him fully.
I also realised deep in my heart that most of India’s Christian teaching is cut down Western doctrine which denies the Torah, and only accept New Testament Christianity to live one’s life but this is not what Yahushua taught and the Bible is clear that we find no such thing in Yahushua or His disciple's life.
I decided that I must learn the true form of Nazarene Christianity that the disciples and apostles of Yahushua followed in the first century so I embarked on a road to become a Nazarene Rabbi and to take this teaching back to India to teach the people there the true faith uncut uncensored. Amen.
